Although the Bank Bribery Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act’s Privacy of Consumer Financial Information are not always in the spotlight, they are still very important and regular training is required for all employees.
The Bank Bribery Act is chock full of dos and don’ts for employees. It provides guidance on acceptable and professional behavior. Your staff members’ behavior can impact the image of your credit union both positively and negatively, so it is important to provide this training. In addition, Privacy of Consumer Financial Information is required to ensure the privacy of your members’ financial and personal information.
